What’s with the harsh tag?

Women go by lots of different names. But when you hit a number of years, some nouns are suddenly AWOL. When’s the last time you were called a girl? How about bird? All too often the comely ‘Lady’ is used and not in that Thunderbirds, pink Rolls Royce way.
